WELCOME TO THE CADLAB
Long Island University Brooklyn
At the Child Attention and Development (CAD) Lab, we study how attention in early childhood shapes learning and development, with a particular focus on how attentional processes relate to anxiety and other socio-emotional and cognitive outcomes. To do this, we use behavioral tools like eye-tracking and observation, brain-based methods like EEG, and measures of children’s home and social environments.
Our short, fun studies are for children 3 months to 10 years.
We are always looking for families to volunteer their time to visit us in the CADLab! Join our studies in-person or online to help us explore how attention shapes development.
